THE BELL SLEEVE THEORY

Strut down the street in your favorite pair of jeans and not so basic sweater. As much as I have resisted the bell sleeved trend, it has stuck to me, and now I’m smitten. What’s not to love? The BELL or (really) big sleeves are quite lovely as they are impractical for the 9-5, but they take the attention away from other unflattering places and give a feminine flair to the edgiest looks.

The key to wearing the bell-sleeve look is to embrace the billowing and make it the focus. Keep the rest of your look minimal with jeans or skirt. Make the sleeves the conversation piece. I styled my sweater with my favorite jeans from Frame and kept a black and white theme with accessories. Here a few favorite sweater and blouse for all budgets in my edit to rock the trend.

Hat: Janessa Leone | Sweater: Who What Wear x Target | Necktie: Chan Luu | Jeans: Frame Le Rip | Flats: Nine West (similar here) |Bag: Halston | Sunglasses: Balenciaga (sold in Paris)

I just looking at a bell sleeve top yesterday and couldn’t believe they’ve made a comeback. Fashion is a merry-go-round. I do like the crispness of black and white coupled with the black and white background you were shot against. Very pretty indeed. You also look a little like a good friend of mine! The same beautiful eyes 🙂
