CARIBBEAN INSPIRED FASHION FOR SPRING

Take your style on a permanent vacation with Caribbean inspired looks this season. Influenced by Latin, Caribbean, and Dominican flare, designers have found a new source of inspiration within the vast, beautiful cultures. Jet-setters are embracing these designs on their adventures to the warmer climates of these colorful countries.

One brand that is celebrating Latinx pride is Hija de tu Madre, with the inception of their “must-have” Sweet Tops. This flirty off-the-shoulder feminine silhouette can transport any wearer to the island vacation of their dreams. I embrace my Haitian roots in this banana top which perfectly captures my constant craving for my mother’s plantains.

Spring style this year is all about bold prints, statement earrings, round bags, and more for beach lounging to salsa dancing the night away. Keep beauty to a minimum with a tinted moisturizer and a dewy base. I’m always using Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow with a bold lip.

I’ve gathered together my favorite looks to shop in my edit below. Also, since you’ll be planning your vacation soon, watch my video on How to Pack for a Long Weekend!

Oh! I really love the balance of the bold colors and design against the neutral black! I would of never thought to also pair the nude sandals to give it more of a day look! Thanks!
